Steven J. Shapiro
Chairman

STEVEN J. SHAPIRO was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Burlington Resources. He was also a member of the Board of Directors prior to the acquisition of Burlington by Conoco Philips.  Mr. Shapiro was previously employed by ARCO where he held a number of operating and staff positions of increasing responsibility, including President of ARCO Coal Australia, Vice President of Corporate Planning, and Treasury and Business Development Assignments in both London and Los Angeles. Mr. Shapiro received his B.A. degree in Industrial Economics from Union College and his MBA from Harvard University.

Eli S. Jacobs
Director

ELI S. JACOBS is a private investor who has invested in numerous early stage businesses in a range of sectors including medical technology and biotechnology. He currently serves as Chairman of GeoBiotics, LLC and a number of other companies.  Mr. Jacobs received a B.A. from Yale University and an LL.B. from Yale Law School.    

Desmond P. Kearns
Director

DESMOND P. KEARNS has more than 40 years experience in the mining industry.  Mr. Kearns received a B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Mining Engineering from the University of London in the U.K., an M.S. degree in Mining Engineering and a J.D. in Law with High Distinction from the University of Arizona.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona, a Chartered Engineer in the U.K., and a member of the State Bar of Arizona.

J. TODD HARVEY has a wide range of experience related to the growth of new technologies and businesses with much of that experience focused on the development and commercialization of biotechnology based industrial processes.

JOSHUA A. SROGE brings a broad financial, legal, and operational background in public and private industry. He has more than 15 years experience in a financial leadership capacity, working in software development, hardware distribution, medical, and chemical industries.
